Yoga can be taught in school again in Alabama
The southern state banned teaching yoga in schools for nearly 30 years because it is considered a non-christian religion by the conservatives. The new bill still sets limits to the practice of some basic moves, but at least kids at school can now stretch and relax if they want to.
