Office national des forets
The Office National des Forêts (ONF) is the French government agency responsible for the management of France’s public forests, covering nearly 11 million hectares in mainland France and its overseas territories. Established in 1964, the ONF balances timber production with biodiversity conservation, wildfire prevention, and public recreation. The organization also welcomes donations and corporate sponsorships to support reforestation and forest protection projects across the country.
